Innovative Idea and Creativity

  • This project is designed and assembled by the team of students from grade 6. They have researched and made a working model. The project is till on research and market survey  to further the actual prototype to be created and tested.
  • A water jet boat is a type of boat that uses a jet of water for propulsion. Instead of traditional propellers, these boats draw water from beneath the hull into a pump, which then expels it at high speed through a nozzle at the stern. This creates a jet of water that propels the boat forward.
  • It presents a solution to a reduce  use of fossil fuel problem and protect environment from climate change.
  • The major problem that we are trying to solve is to save energy, use alternate energy and prevent carbon emission and reduce the pollution to fight the climatic change. This makes the planet a safer place to all living organisms.

How Water Jet Boat Works

Intake

Water is drawn into the boat through an intake grate on the underside of the hull.

Impeller

Inside the boat, the water passes through an impeller (a type of pump) which increases the water’s pressure and velocity.

Nozzle

The high-pressure water is then directed through a nozzle at the stern of the boat. The direction and speed of the boat can be controlled by changing the angle and size of the nozzle.

Thrust

As the water is expelled from the nozzle, it creates thrust, propelling the boat forward.
